Rapper Nicki Minaj will co-star in New Line/MGM’s “Barbershop 3″ alongside Ice Cube and Cedric the Entertainer, Variety has learned.
Minaj will play Draya, the sassy new hairdresser of the beauty shop portion of the barbershop. She made her first screen appearance last year in “The Other Woman,” portraying the assistant to Cameron Diaz’s character.
She will be very funny in this role but she needs to make sure she doesn't play another sassy sidekick type for her next movie or she'll be permanently stereotyped and why that name? Ugh
