After residing at Sony/Columbia for more than a decade, it is rumoured that Beyonce may NOT renew her contract with the label. Instead, Beyonce may even go independent for the project. The idea has reportedly been pitched by husband Jay-Z, and due to his success, Beyonce is seriously considering it.

Other floating reports suggest she may even take plight to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation since she has fulfilled her 3-album contract with Columbia. What would be the best decision for Beyonce? Should she go to another major record label, stay with Columbia, or go independent?
