Singer-songwriter and producer Adien Lewis just released his new EP "lazydays", while riding the wave of his massive (2 million+), and universally loved Blank Space cover.
The EP showcases the big, epic, electronic production he's become known for through his covers, and each track is just as infectious and catchy as the last.
Seriously gurls, get into him. The album is so good. It's got a nice mix of dark electro-pop and catchy hooks. And afaik he does everything himself. Just imagine what he can do with co-writers/producers.
I've had that and hi stuck in my head back and forth for the past few days and I'm just loving it.
I agree though, it's so nice when a producer also sings their own songs, especially when they have such a soothingly sweet voice like Adien or Calvin for ex.
