Cowell bans GaGa stage plans
GaGa is set to leave viewers "stunned"
--
Simon Cowell has vetoed pop superstar Lady GaGa’s plans for her performance on the show.
Although GaGa, performing this Sunday, is set to bring in huge figures for the show; even Simon Cowell couldn’t meet her extravagant demands.
The New York singer asked for a set of lambs to be allowed onstage during her performance of new track ‘Bad Romance’, much to the shock of the show’s boss.
A source told The Sun: “She is always way out there with her costumes and dance routines. But not even [Simon] was prepared for what she had in mind.
“He thought the animals request was a joke but then realised it was Lady GaGa. Simon is an animal lover and wasn’t against having the lambs running around, but he said no because of health and safety.”
This is the second time Lady GaGa has been banned from using animals in her performance; the singer was ruled against bringing a lion onstage at the MTV Video Music Awards in September.
A show insider commented, however, that GaGa’s performance will leave the viewers of The X Factor “stunned”. It has been reported semi-naked dancers will now join her.
