I need a haircut and Im thinking about getting it cut like this

It's decent, short sides and longer top is what 70% of guys have these days.

My hair's similar to that, just not styled so neatly.

on the second it looks cute, i would suggest some type of spike in the middle with a little bit of shorter hair

I'd have it neat to one side if I was going to an interview. Everyday at work I just throw it around with some putty gum.

I love looking clean and tidy but rough around the edges.

on some guys, i like it when they keep the top longer though

I have that haircut too but I find it gets ugly ones the sides grow out. It's like, maintain it or get rid of it all together.

I have that haircut, but the top is a lot longer and messier. Just the sides and back are shaved almost completely bald.
