News: Iran seizes American cargo ship

The Iranian navy has seized a US cargo ship and escorted it to the Iranian port of Bandar Abbas, reports say

Reports say the vessel had 34 crew aboard at the time.

Iran's semi-official Fars news agency said the vessel had been detained "for trespassing on Iran's territorial waters".

This would not lead to WW3 most of the Middle East dreams of us wiping out Iran.

Their navy is a joke it would be gone in a day, their air defenses are not to be overlooked but nothing we can't handle. Russia won't care because they would sell them everything back to they lost when it's over. The only mistake would be not to take out their nuke sites.

No Arab nation is going to come to their defense.

The US provides defense for the Marshall Islands. Maybe it does not extend to shipping in international waters but one would think so.
