Or would they not fit in with this generation? I actually think for collector's dolls of music artists or TV & movie characters are amazing and i really miss when these were big. Britney would have had some amazing dolls if they hadn't stopped after the Pepsi line.
I think this idea of "pop star dolls" went out the door with the teen/bubble gum pop scene and tacky costumes. It wouldn't really work today with acts like Rihanna and Beyoncé. Plus, I don't think dolls are enough of a thing nowadays.
Do girls play with dolls nowadays? All my nieces prefer tablets and dressing up like their favourite Disney princesses rather playing with than dolls.
Yeah i think kids pretty much prefer the tablet value and such more then playing actual dolls but for the collectible reason maybe of older adults or teens it would be a nice thing to do.

I can understand that but it's probably not viable from a financial point of view if only collectors are going to get them
Having said that...I'm pretty sure One Direction launched their own dolls in their peak.
Yeah surprisingly pretty much the only music artist dolls that were being made were male artists however i know Mattel made a limited edition doll for Nicki and Katy.

They had a Jennifer Lopez collection in 2013, too.
“Let’s discuss how the removable heads will work.” He sent another note about the outfits they wanted to move forward with or explore; among them were the Born This Way zombie outfit and the Monster Ball fire bra and panties.
Gaga also has a line of her own life-sized sex dolls.
I have the Britney Spears one with the green top but she has short hair. It's (very) cool. Too bad I wasn't a music fan when I was young I'd loved it playing with artists dolls .

I'm guessing that's the Drive Me Crazy doll. That one was ugly cause for some reason they put short hair on her. Shockingly the only Britney doll i still have from my childhood is still in packaging and it's the Sometimes mini doll.

Haa I've always asked myself from what video/performance it was from because of the hair and she has a mic.
It's weird because I wasn't even a fan so I don't know why I got it .
