Discussion: Do you hate your job?

I hate my job, it makes me physically sick thinking about going there and having to deal with people. Plus one of my managers is fat and lazy and always calls me in on what is supposed to be MY day off to come and work for him.

Now its almost 3 am and I cant sleep and I have to be there at 7:30am, then ill have night class later on. Im so angry with life right now I wanna throw a phone at my bosses head

At least ill be leaving within 2 months while my co workers have to continue working there for the remainder of their pathetic lives.

Nopeee but my manager is a nice lady and my coworkers are ok (most of the time) job i just annoying.

I love the people where I work and I don't mind it much but you could say I'm actively looking for a better job

Sometimes. In the summer we get so busy and I usually end up hating life. At least I work on the beach though.

I work as a cashier and I have to do so much work. I wouldn't mind that so much, I just hate people. Like they feel the need to tell me their life stories just SHUT. THE. ****. UP. I don't give a damn about your ****ing life. I care about scanning your ****** food and taking your money. Just take damn change and shut the **** up. I don't want to talk to you. Go find yourself some friends or a god-damn therapist just stfu.

I really want to get out of sales. "Uncapped earnings! You can make as much as you want to make!"

Yeah, right. What a crock of ****. Actually the reality is, I make YOU as much as I can make, and then you decide how much I make when you try to cheat me out of my commissions. I'm so sick of giving 110% to my boss and then getting cheated and lied to in return for my hard work.

All I want at this point is to get a professional job that pays a steady salary, but I think I need more degrees/qualifications

I hate it when the lines get to 10 people deep and I have to go on lunch.Usually, if I see that happen; I'm sending someone to the self checkout machine. I don't have time for the complaints about the machines either.

usually i just call someone else and they open up another line but last saturday I was already super hungry and I was almost done with the last customer and some bitch came and i told her I wasn't open (i had the red light on and a sign), I was going on my lunch break and she was such a bitch about it. BYE. She only had one item but I sent her back to the other line. If she had been nice, i would've scanned it for her but with such an attitude, NAH.
