Discussion: An album or a EP every year

Would you rather an artist release an EP and then an album the following year or an album year after year?

I like the idea of an album every second year and then 1 or 2 EPs the the following year

I like the idea of an EP (6-7 songs) so much more. It's concise and to the point, and most likely fillerless, which is very rare for a full album.

EPs also allow for more flexibility and accessibility to different concepts and ideas across eras.

Temporal

Album, then EP, year off, repeat.

Mte! Something like Robyn's Body Talk is great, and album in parts within a year or so.
