Do you have any family members who are/were addicted to drugs or alcohol?
My sister has recently relapsed after 4 years of sobriety and now my mom is staying with her to try to help her out and she just keeps denying that she has done anything. Its frustrating because my mom doesnt need to babysit her and she is just causing so many problems that could easily be avoided.
Sometimes I wish we could choose our families and everything could be nice and happy
2 of my cousins died because of drug abuse.
My grandfather died because of alcohol abuse when I was four.
My uncle died because of alcohol abuse as well when i was thirteen.
I can't believe it's what I see, that the addict in the mirror is me.
The only reason why I'm sober is because I can't handle stronger alcohol like I used to. It makes me feel so sick.
My great-grandpa on my dad's side committed suicide while drunk. He was an alcoholic also.
My mother, dad (who passed away, not from drugs tho), aunt, uncle, grandmother, grandfather, probably more too. :/
