No, I think most things are totally random and the things that aren't happened because a person actively worked towards it, not because it was destiny.

Not everything is totally random. Take mother nature for example. Also just because someone works towards something doesn't mean that they will actually achieve it.

We choose our life the moment we were born with some kind of mission on Earth, we chose our family and the people we get contact with for our evolution... And we have the power to change our life too. There's universal law in everything, not random... And also the way you cope with life's adversity and those family's mess have patterns/cycle and one of member/collective will work towards change for the best of all.., we consciously realize or not. But to make it clear, life is nuts and i try to enjoy all sides.. The bitch, the dark, the absurds, and then decided which one to enjoy most. You have to choose the way you live your life...

No, I feel like we are in control of our destiny for the most part, there are the things that are inevitable and some things that happen in life are all a matter of time & place.
