Not really the best time to admit that I hadn't heard of her prior to last week when a thread mentioned her anniversary, but I just watched the video in the OP and did some research.
It seems like she was a really sweet, and very humble human being who was truly grateful for the success and love she received from her fans. It's also clear that she knew her role in the Hispanic community and treated it with honour.
A damn shame, that's all I can say. We need people like her.
