Lilo & Stitch is actually weirdly progressive for a Disney movie. Like, L&S features a non-white cast, people of all sorts of body types, seemingly gay characters (Pleakley and Jumba become even gayer in the TV series if I remember correctly), and a refreshingly honest look at a nontraditional family.

I totally agree. Lilo and Stitch doesn't get enough praise.
