As we all know, CDs are gradually becoming less popular as the GP shifts to digital music and streaming applications. What we once knew as a standard format is now a secondary type of releasing music, and technology is already adapting to these new consumer habits: optical disc drives are practically nonexistent in new computer models, car radios with CD slots are largely being discontinued and other alterations will undoubtedly ensue.
The question is: when do you think CDs will turn obsolete? (i.e.: when will major artists stop releasing compact discs, etc.)
