Wasn't the version on Young & Restless rap-less though? That one I have doesn't have a rap part, although this one does seem a little longer (has some extended instrumental parts).

The one on Young & Restless was entirely re-recorded from scratch.

This is basically the same as the version that leaked many years back, minus the rent-a-rapper.

The song was meant to be included on her sophomore album she would've released under Island Def Jam, before they parted ways. She decided to keep it for Y&R because it's one of her favorites.

Side note: she's re-re-recording this for her 3rd album!

Well if she's re-re-recording it, she should give smashes like "Ten Billion Years," "Now That You're Gone," "Cry Wolf," and "Find It In My Heart" a chance on another album too.

She's gorgeous and the song is cute. Hol On Boy is also a certified bop so good luck to her
