Patheos did an excellent expose of Eric Hovind's unconstitutional behavior.

The district said Hovind spoke to the “debate club,” which might suggest his talk took place outside of the normal school day (which would be less damning), however, based on the timestamp of Hovind’s Facebook photo seen above (9:23a) and the fact that there’s no debate club/activity listed on the school’s website, it clearly happened during class time.

The following photo was posted by Hovind on Facebook with the caption, "Just got done speaking at a public school in LaGrange Georgia. We talked about critical thinking. The students loved it!"

I do think there is hope, and it starts with education. That's why this is so blatantly appalling, because it is an infiltration of the education system.

I was being mostly facetious. The whole situation with the deep south has become so tragic it's become almost funny in a weird sense. Like...bye Felicia. It's a sad state of affairs when I'm happy to be raised in Texas.

I really do think it is possible to change things. Unfortunately, because conservative politicians continue to get re-elected, legal headway is not made.

There needs to be less indoctrination of children, more education early on regarding science and evolution to foster inquisitivity and curiousity, and destigmatization of evolution and atheism.
