During the press conference the Bronx beauty was asked about her collaboration with Mexican singer Belinda. "Belinda? I don't know anything about that," Lopez said. "Maybe it's a rumor that started somewhere, but it doesn't make sense, there's nothing about that. It's not true, it doesn't have any truth."
Belinda has struggled to score a big musical hit and album in the past years. She has collaborated with Pitbull and Juan Magán, but nothing has been a solid hit that we will be remembered for decades to come. Maybe Belinda threw that little fib thinking that Lopez would never go to Mexico and uncover her lie?
I love her but she needs to go back to her roots and stop following trends, specially when she hops on them late. She's talented and I admire the references and concepts she comes up with. A JLO feature wouldn't even have helped her imo, so idk why she bothered to lie.
