This has nothing to do with the quality of the fonts but rather which one is more iconic



Helvetica is used everywhere. It's like the "default font".



Comic Sans is immediately recognized by most people for being that font. It became the font for sarcasm and memes and took the world by storm

Helvetica is iconic but too overused. I personally really like Univers for sans-serif and Mrs. Eaves as serif

Helvetica is LEGENDARY in the world of typography and graphic design. They HATE comic sans and all those other wacky typefaces.
