Speaking with City News Toronto, Green explained that she wasn't mad at all, and that the unfortunate incident led to her having "literally the best day."
"[It was] my dream come true," Green said. "I never thought in a million years this would happen to me."
According to the diehard fan, she and her sister had been waiting to go to the concert for months, and even upgraded their tickets to front row seats -- a decision Green is glad she made.
"Once they announce [the next concert], first thing…front row," Green revealed. "Anything can happen!"
During the show, Levine tried to explain the situation saying, "Our first album came out in 2002, not one time in the history of our band’s career — which I can barely even believe exists — not one time has the P.A. failed. Not one time, until tonight. In my flustered state, I might have thrown my microphone on the ground and then it might have bounced off of the ground, into poor, sweet Stephanie’s face."
"I felt so utterly terribly that I had perhaps wounded this young fan,” Levine added, as he brought Green up to meet him.
