Actually, God by universal definition, is the one thing that does not need creating, something eternal and timeless, and uncaused, the Creater or the First Cause. That is the definition shared by almost every religion. The gods in many religion are just different expressions of the same entity. A personal definition of god is anything that is worshipped by the individual.
