Why can't this girl get/keep a record deal? With her YouTube views and voice success you'd think she'd have more luck

Her voice is like Beyoncé's in the sense that it's big and she can hit all the notes, but it's lifeless. Plus her tone is kind of grating (Beyoncé's isn't).

Girl... Her voice is better than Beyonce's. It may lack presence just like Beyonce's but it is definitely better

I just find her voice really irritating for some reason. Like her audition for The Voice was good in the sense that she had this amazing range, but I didn't like the sound coming out of her mouth. I wish I could like her because I love powerful vocalists, but she just isn't my cup of tea. Wishing her the best though, it's sad to see anyone not find success (especially when you've been around for a hot minute like Christina Grimmie has)

With a single like Must Be Love, of course she flopped. She is really talented though. During my YT phase, she was my favorite singer to watch.

And i completely agree with that. She's a fighter and i like that about her, she doesn't just easily give up. Truth to be told there's something missing in regards to her voice she will surely fall in the Demi tier with a musical career that will most likely never fully take off.

Her voice sounded way different / Her technique was worse on the voice than it was during any other time on her career

Island tweets about Shawn are filled with frands asking to promote her instead, I don't even know why they consider him "big" when she has more suscribers, and is a much better vocalist.

I guess a boy can give you money from girls but a girl only can give you money if she's half-naked and she doesn't want to, props to her for not wanting the easy way and wanting to be recognised for her musical talent instead.

I wouldn't call it a flop, she only had ONE TV performance on a morning show, just a lyric video and the song wasn't sent to the radio, it wasn't even available to purchase here in Spain, not even in digital format. She did some shows in Philipines that could all fill a stadium, something that Shaw Mendes CAN'T do with them tweeting about him 24/7.
Island sleeps on her, good they let her free and she didn't became another Jojo case.

Must Be Love was a terrible song, and it was also barely promoted. What did Island expect? This disappoints me so much because her voice is incredible and I need to hear it on great songs.

Demi might not be the most global act but the girl has made some impact with her music, her fanbase is one of the biggest in the industry, at least 3 of her singles have managed to crack several markets WW , her voice alone is very respected by critics and peers ! ...

Demi already made her brand so I find the comparison rather disrespectful !
