There's a difference between having sex appeal, and being beautiful/attractive. Someone like Adele, or Katy are beautiful ladies, but they don't have much sex appeal. Other celebrities like Nicki, and Rihanna have sex appeal.

Katy has sex appeal. Don't let that quirky/dorky personality fool you. Men LOVE her and she's always topping the lists.
Anyway, sex appeal definitely carries you further.
