[I]The Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin spoke to radio host and personality Hoda Kobt this week on her radio show.
Asked who she would chose from today's "up and comers" to sing a duet with, the legendary singer replied, "Maybe Ariana. I think Ariana and I are going to do a duet." Following an excited response from Kobt, Franklin added, "You like that? I think we have a hot duo going."
Grande is a known fan of the Motown singer, and in 2012, did a cover of the iconic single, "Natural Woman." Check it out below: (0:47)
Just remember one thing... no one out sings Aretha, or else. If this duet actually happens (it probably won't, knowing Aretha's ways like I do), whatever note that girl hits, Aretha will upstage it.
