Have you? What was the experience like? How early did you go?

I'm asking BC I've never been to one and I'm.going and I want to know how early I should go..

EDIT: I'm going to see Fifth Harmony btw. The place isn't very big. Its a ballroom / concert hall type setting.

Yes, it depends on what kind of concert youre going to. I had great experiences at pop concerts, but my first metal concert in GA was one of the worst experiences of my life. Never. Again.

Almost all my concerts have been GA concerts and (almost) all have been great experiences!
(The worst was Rihanna because of some girls thinking they are big Rihanna fans without knowing her latest album, but try to not care about stupid people like that)

Depending on the artist, if it's a popular one I come 3-12 hours (12 for the biggest ofc) before they let us in. It also depends on how close you want to be and if there is a Golden Circle/Early Entry type of thing as well, you want to come before what you think will be the moment most people arrive. (Think about when most end school/work in your area)

It also depends a lot on the arena how close you get, I was like 500 m / 0,31 miles back in line for Miley, and I got 3rd/4th row behind the Golden Circle fence because of the huge arena. I went more to the side instead of the middle where everybody else went as well. Also, keep in mind that the superfans might be getting the Golden Circle, so the people that would come there early in GA won't be taking up space in the GA line as they are in the GC one, if you get what I mean?
But yeah, if you really like the artist and wanna be close; come as early as possible. Remember to bring food and lots of water to stay hydrated, especially if it's hot weather! (Myself I'm too excited to eat on concert days, but it's still important )

Guess it really depends. The only GA I've gotten from the shows I've gone was Circus. I went 3 hours early and here are a few pics of how close:





IICR there were maybe 2-3 "rows" of people in front of me. It was general standing, so there weren't actually seats but that's my equivalent guess. Which wasn't too bad when she would come all the way down the stage arm.

Stage set-up is important in that sense I reckon. Probably best you plan your day around being in line to be safe, if you really want to be close.

I went GA to BTWBall but arrived extra early to get into the pit (like 12 hours or s/t like that?)

Also went GA to Cher Lloyd gig but got there half hour and still had a good view

The only concert i've been to is the PWT and it was in RS

I went to the Ellie Goulding and Bastille concerts which were both GA. I went there like 7 hours before the show started but I could get to the front row so it was worth it

yes we queued like 12 hours from 4am

I turned up 7 hours early for Chers tour and was in like the 10th row from the front

How early should you arrive to a Charli XCX GA gig??

I'm seeing Fifth Harmony. I'm not sure how early to be as they aren't that big. Plus a majority of their fan base is younger so they'll probably be in school and such. It starts at 7.. Would 4:30osh be a good time to go?

I saw Courtney Love from GA and I had a great experience. 2nd row, middle of the stage.

i arrive about 12 hours early for both GA and Golden Circle Tickets. i need to be in the front tbh

I hate general admission, i went to see LMFAO and we were basically right against the gate before the VIP section and it was a crowded mess (obviously) , my two friends got in a screaming fight with these other girls, people were pushing, two juiceheads were about to fight at one point..

Put me up in a seat away from the mess please..

Lining up for the btwball to get in the monster pit was ****ing hell and it was in the middle of winter
