Little Mix say their third album is finished and are just "adding little touches" to it.
Speaking to Newsbeat at the Brit Awards, they say: "We've been working on the album for quite a while, we just want it to be perfect".
They say the first single from the album has been chosen and is a "whole new sound".
"It's literally completely different to anything we've done before," they tell Newsbeat.
"Words can't describe how excited we are for this single."
Perrie, Jesy, Jade and Leigh-Anne say the single is "a bit of a risk" but so were Wings and Move.
"It's scary because we've never done this style before but we're excited because it's a new lane, a new year and we're feeling very positive."

This week Jess Glynne told Capital FM that the songs she wrote with the girls are "still very Little Mix but they've got more of an edge to them. They've got that R&B flex but definitely with quite a hardcore hit to them"
It's been reported that the album will be released this summer.
