It's been rumoured for a long time now that Marina's "Better Than That" is about Ellie Goulding who supposedly slept with Marina's then-boyfriend DJ Burns.

Last night Ellie blocked a fan who sent the song to her and multiple others who commented "BUY FROOT ON ITUNES".

She then went on to post a picture saying "NOBODY CARES".

Either way the song is definitely about Ellie. The references to Anything Can Happen & Under The Sheets, the mention of "she has low self esteem" which Ellie has spoken about publicly, the "starting out" at the same time lyric, the "angel voice".. the shoe fits. Marina won't admit it though.

There's no one else who started out at the same time as Marina who this can apply to, I don't think anyway. It's not Rita or Lana as previously suggested.
