After recently becoming obsessed with Gone Girl I can't help but love Rosamund Pike and the slayage that she bestoyed upon us with the brilliant acting in her role.

Do you think she should have won Best Actress at last night's ceremony?

Julianne is a legend and her having an Oscar is absolutely correct. Thank god AMPAS didn't **** up that easy one

No. Julianne Moore was overdue for ha Oscar.

Probably not because of what she was up against. Rosamund killed it in Gone Girl though and deserved the nomination.

I can't speak for Marion Cotillard, but I think Moore was far and away the best performance in the category.

Marion, Julianne, and Rosamund were my top three so I'm happy with the result.

Yes I thought she was on lock. Julianne's performance was too much Oscar bait and is a role that feels like a been there done that performance (mental illness, how it affects the person's life, how the people around adjust to it, etc. etc).

Rosamund's character was haunting, you love the character even though you hate her too much. She was cold, manipulative and unpredictable and the way she delivers her lines with those terrifying glares and cold voice The way she transitions from innocent girl to murderous sociopath effortlessly too. She was born for that role

Yes. I don't mind Julianne winning though, it was good role too and it'd be criminal to leave a stellar career like hers Oscar-less.

Rosamund was incredible but Marion Cotillard was even better. But Amazing Amy will eventually be dubbed "iconic" and both would have made great wins. I'm still happy Julianne finally won though.

Rosamund's performance was the best overall in FILM all year. Julianne only won out of pity because she's never gotten one and she'll likely never win one again because of her age so it was her time and I understand that. But Julianne should respect true artistry and give her Oscar to Rosamund.

Nope. Julianne rightfully won. Reese should have won before Rosamund. And Amy Adams should have been nominated and won before Rosamund. So. That's a definite no. She deserved to be nominated but definitely not to win. It should have been Julianne, Reese, Amy, Rosamund, and Felicity with Julianne still winning.

That's one of the most absurd things I've read in awhile, and ATRL is full of absurd statements. Julianne deserved to win and you're just evidently butthurt about it. Have you even seen Still Alice? Doesn't seem like you have. Don't make such absurd statements without actually knowing all of the facts or watching all of the performances.

No. Gone Girl was trash and painfully predictable. Maybe it was the role but the acting was so transparent just because the "twist" was so poorly hidden.
