For those who are thinking Katy's gonna snatch that spot SOON
Based on the current rate Over the last 60 days:
- Katy gained : 357,361,769 views
- Rihanna gained: 266,328,889 views
- So the gap in 60 days is 357,361,769 - 266,328,889 = 91,032,880
- The overall gap is 5,971,933,286 - 4,979,228,518 = 992,704,768
That means Katy need 992,704,768/91,032,880*60/30 = 21 months (or 2 years ) to catch up with Rihanna in the condition that Rihanna and Katy won't release anything.
But we all know Rihanna will release a sequence of Videos for Home and for R8 and Katy will not.
So it would be longer than 2 year.
