It seems like Vanessa Hudgens and Corbin Bleu aren't listed on HR official site anymore? Were they dropped? I heard Vanessa was trying to find a way out and maybe she did.

They were both on hollwood's site a month ago. Now new bands have been signed in their place. Anybody have any info?

Rumor has it that Vanessa was trying to get out of her Hollywood Record's contract and move over to another label. So I'm guessing that they must have worked out some sort of deal. Last we had heard, they wouldn't let Vanessa out of her contract so she was supposed to go back in the studio. There was even a leak from a HR intern that showed the names of some song demos that were supposed to go to Vanessa about 2 months ago or so. Not to mention she received a downpayment from HR for a 3rd album according to the legal documents from this latest legal battle she had to deal with from her record producer that was a shark.

If Vanessa's really been dropped than this is the best thing that's ever happened to her music-wise.
HR never took advantage of her true potential so I'll be estatic if this is true.

It's obvious disney was holding her back.

She has 2 new grown-up movies coming out in 2010 & 2011 so hopefully she'll find a new label that will let her sex up her image a bit.

Maybe she can move over to Def Jam like it was rumored.

But any label would be better than Hollywood. I would be happy if she had one that actually sent her songs for radio ads.

I would have loved for Vanessa to have gotten the promo that Hilary got for Dignity on Identified.

At least Hilary actually had a song sent to radio from the album and had more than one single. Vanessa's one and only single wasn't even sent to radio and the music video wasn't even financed by Hollywood Records. Ecko Red paid for it and all we got was one long shoe commercial.

I think she's better off with Jive Records. The company knows how to build a career for budding artists like Vanessa plus did I mention the pop approaches of the label?

If Jonas keep selling low and Cyrus finishes her record deal Im sure this label is pretty much done.
And IMO they do deserve that for ruining the best part of our faves' careers

They ruined the budding music careers of many artists. Jeannie Ortega, Raven-Symone, Caleigh Peters, Marie Digby, and more, even they're earlier artists like Nobodies Angel and BBmak (tho they never had a chance), and recently Hilary Duff, even though she was the #1 money maker for the label for a good 4-5 years.

and at least she actually performed the songs from that album on a tv show. Vanessa hasn't performed one of her own songs on TV in 3 years!

At the end of Identified's era, I would have been greatful for a 2nd single with some lame performance music video.

Let this be true, please! Vanessa seriously needs a new label that will promote and support her all through out!

The record company still has Breaking Benjamin, Atreyu, and Plain White T's.

Vanessa deserves a better management. She has a lot of potential and I'm pretty sure she will be very big once she is properly treated.
