Doesn't mean much. They're way behind Verizon and Att. And sprint is famous for their crap service so who would go with them anyway.

I NEVER understand why people use all these carriers
I use Virgin Mobile, have iPhone 5s and pay $25(!!!) per month with 2GB of data
I'm NOT paying them $50 a month!

Yeah, they have more phones, but Virgin has many too. They have Samsung S5 and iPhone 5S

Good. Sprint is trash. T-Mobile is the only progressive main carrier right now so I'm glad their changes are working.

Verizon is king.

Virgin Mobile uses Sprint's network, which is extremely spotty as is, but they don't have priority over Sprint's postpaid customers. You get a higher level of priority as a post-paid customer on a network compared to pre-paid customers and MVNO customers.

I never Knew they were that close in subscribers. I'm not surprised though T Mobile is better. I have Sprint right now, and their data service is garbage.

Sprint DOES have spotty service.
I'm on T-Mobile right now because Verizon was LITERALLY getting to be too much for me.My phone was broken, and didn't want to pay Asurion a $100 deductible ON TOP OF a $300 bill.

T-Mobile's coverage isn't as good as Verizon's BUT their pricing isn't as bad.If I have to choose between the top 2 carriers,I'd STILL go with Verizon over AT&FEE.

NOT here for Cricket,Boost,Virgin,Straight Talk,I-wireless,TracFone or any of those other carriers

Doesn't matter. Once Sprint buys T-Mobile, goodbye to all the progressive and useful things T-Mobile did to rock the industry.

I use King Verizon but I WISH it had T-Mobile prices.

Sprint used to be boss. They had crystal clear cellular coverage. But that was over a decade ago and they didn't do a good job during the cell phone boom of the early aughts to been seen as cool.

I have Sprint, mostly because they let me have a contract. Since they offer unlimited data for life, it's a good deal. They're constantly working on improving their network and they have ownership of the lower frequencies that penetrate buildings better allowing for better signal indoors.

But when I first signed up in September 2013, I didn't even have LTE coverage. I found it in a few places and it took 6 months before it got to where I lived.

Are they big enough to buy T Mobile tho? Aren't they basically the same size
