Such a great band with 3 great albums! I've always thought that Selena Gomez was very brave not going solo after her Disney debut and choosing to be in an actual band (even with some people not considering the rest of the band, just her).

This isn't really true. It's definitely still bubblegum pop but it was Selena who demanded she be in a band instead of going solo and they were the ones behind the music. HWR forced Selena to put her name in the title because it brought name recognition way up, but she wanted them to simply be called The Scene.
