People on ATRL often criticise black female singers (Such as Rihanna & Beyonce) who dye their hair blonde and lighten their skin.
(No shade btw) Ariana Grande purposely makes her skin darker and changes her hair so that she doesn't look as white as what she once was, yet she gets zero criticism.
Why are black girls criticised for "trying to look white" but not vice versa?
