Hi gals... has anyone else felt a TLC "CrazySexyCool" vibe when listening to "Beyoncé"? For those familiar with both, which album do you prefer, and why? Also, does "Beyoncé" match "CrazySexyCool"'s quality and repeatability for you? I'm excited to read everyone's responses

There isn't a song on BEYONCE even a fraction as good as Creep or Sumthin' Wicked This Way Comes, so TLC.

No, I don't see the resemblance. Self-Titled is miles better both vocally, sonically, and thematically, than CrazySexyCool, Ghost is better than all of Left Eye's raps on the album as well.

CSC is one of my favorite albums of all time. BEYONCÉ is not.

Huh? Beyonce is a mature album about womanhood with neo-soul elements and CSC is groovy and fun. I mean that interlude on the toilet How are they similar?

I think I appreciate self titled slightly more as an album overall but for individual songs CSC definitely has more replay value for me.

I prefer BEYONCÉ. But I mean, maybe that's because it's a little more diverse?
Both are among my favorite albums though, so maybe it just depends on my mood. Certainly though, Waterfalls is the best songs on both albums.

Uhhh, CSC is a mature album too. It just has a couple immature jokes, but who cares when they work? Somethin This Wicked Way Comes, Waterfalls, Creep, etc all deal with mature issues.

Both are great in their own way.
