I hate it. I know the one I voted for (Can't remember who did it but I believe it was one where the 8 went into the V), everyone loved it and it was the one with the most votes. How could the fans pick this horrible logo?

WTF? That one wasn't even in the lead during the voting process! How could it have won when the purple one with the '78' mixed in the 'violet' was in the lead the whole time? This has to be some **** by Hollywood. There's no way. It was definitely fixed. Not that I don't like it, it's just that it was never in the lead in the poll.

It would look good on a black background if the white parts of the logo were black and the black parts were purple.
