Marriage is a civil ceremony which is for legal reasons. It has nothing to do with religion. Would you allow people not to marry an interracial couple if they didn't believe in that? Or a couple with a huge age difference? Or because you just didn't like them? You are a state employee and you must obey the law. You shouldn't be allowed to 'opt-out' of doing your job.
