The Supreme Court is ruling tomorrow on "doctor-assisted suicide"

I don't know why this is even a thing, it goes against the Hippocratic oath which states:

"I will give no deadly medicine to anyone if asked, nor suggest any such counsel"

But they are ruling on it nonetheless. They already ruled against it in 1993, so... fingers crossed!

Hippocratic oath is old now. Euthanasia should be a human right but should be done VERY CAREFULLY.

Suicide isn't illegal, people can hop off a building if they're that desperate. Doctors have no place in this.

I hope it passes. When someone is suffering from a disease that will kill you in the end and brings suffering, that person should have the choice to either end their life or not.

Anyway it's cruel to keep people who are severly suffering here against their will. If they want to go then that wish should be granted in a respectful way.

If someone is in extreme pain and the chances of them dying anyway are high why shouldn't they be allowed to? Hopefully they do the right thing.

Even though I wouldnt personally, euthanasia should always be an option in extreme conditions.

The people this is really affecting can't just hop out of bed and get to the top of a building to kill themselves.

Forcing people on their deathbed who are in pain to suffer longer than necessary is really cruel. It should be their choice to end it with dignity
