As y'all know, ATRL said the song was a flop and a terrible ass lead single choice for Rihanna's 8th studio album, yet it has not fallen out of the top 10 on iTunes since its debut (as previous #1 hit Diamonds did).
this song is the true definition of a "grower". it's not what anyone expected from Rihanna but i think with more and more exposure people are learning to appreciate it and like it for what is it.
i think a lot of people are gravitating to the lyrics tbh. my mom really loves the song, so i think Rihanna may be coming for Adele's demograhic!
It's not low key slaying, it's having moderate success. It has three major names on it and the video was released less than two weeks after the single's release. It's not surprising that it's steady.
