I think the low voter turnout is due to this edition's theme. I'm familiar with many of the artists playing, but I don't know their discographies enough to be fairly sending in four of their best non-singles. Also, as in the case of some others (like The xx, for example), I'm familiar with all of their music but since almost all of their best songs are singles, I just don't care enough about what they have left over to send a vote for them.

I kind of agree that the non-singles thing does deter people.

A lot of these album tracks feel like album tracks in that unless if you're really a fan of the artist/band you probably won't feel too much. At least that's how I've felt with the weeks so far - there's like usually 3 or 4 really great songs and the rest are mostly average so it makes it hard to rank.

Next week could be interesting though, I'll try to send for Charli, the XX, and Vampire Weekend.
