I completely agree with what that person is saying, though, and for heterosexual couples too. Why go out of your way to adopt a foreign baby that you will be removing from their culture? Why not just drive twenty miles to your local children's shelter and adopt a child from there?

At the end of the day, white people only complain about this **** because they're being called a name. Their lives aren't being threatened, their people aren't being killed, and they're not having their rights taken away, meaning that if the worst thing happening to you is that you're being called a mean name then I think you'll be okay.

Just remember that for every mean name a white person is called, there's a person of color being killed for being a person of color.

also that comment you posted is the hot tea. Most times they adopt foreign children and don't even try to meet the cultural needs. The case where one family starved and killed their foreign child comes to mind

It goes both ways. What they say might be ignorant at times, but you'd understand the sentiment more if you were in their shoes. The world is still dirty. America's still dirty. What they do might not help much, but keep in mind that you still have people out there who keep bigotry alive. When Obama was elected in 2008, kids as young as 8 were saying "I can't wait until that n-word gets assassinated!" Do they get that from their parents? The media? The culture? I guess kids will be ruthless, but still.

The issue at hand there is employers themselves being prejudiced. I'm not an employer, so me sharing stereotypes won't affect someone's employment status. Besides plenty of non-whites have jobs so where's your excuse?

Racism is a system of disadvantage based of race and white people benefit from it - we have never been disadvantaged or discriminated against by the system like black people (probably because us white people created it).
