People treat her like a god but clearly she is NOT
so why do you guys think she is overrated? or do you disagree
No, she's awesome. She's beautiful, can sing, dance, and act. Moreover , she's really humble.
The only problem with her is that she always buys writing credits.
K. Personally I don't find her overrated at all. If anything I think she should get more credit for what she does because no one can do it like her.
That being said, she is rated so highly (and to some this is overrating her) because she stands out so much. She is always way above everyone else when it comes to performing. She is both an amazing singer and an amazing dancer as well as having a huge amount of charisma. Every movement of her's is on it. Even the way she moves her hair or flicks her wrist is well-timed, natural and looks flawless.
I'd guess that if more of the popstars were like this, she wouldn't be as highly regarded as a flawless creature.
She also likes to do things differently. The visual album is a great example of that. Releasing RTW in a dance pop monoculture is another. Filming a music video in 1 take in black and white with no backgrounds, no costume changes and only 2 dancers… etc. So she really stands out as an artist.
I think the media manipulates the public opinion of her to be a perfect goddess and also people jump on the bangwagon of liking her because it's 'cool' and that it's absurd to not like 'Queen B'.
In recent years, in my opinion, she seems to be more relevant as a celebrity than musically. I feel like people confuse her status as a celebrity with her status as musician. Sure she is relevant as a singer, but a supposed superstar like her shouldn't have songs that fail to chart on the Hot 100 (Pretty Hurts) and people act as if her album just went diamond or something lol.
