I normally use people's avis if they are expressive of what I am feeling or saying, but I don't find my avi useful in any situation.

edit: but i posted my first avi today because it was a picture of britneys coochie in the OIDIA outfit which was relevant to a post i was quoting, but never my current one

If someone uses it to respond to something I posted, I'll sometimes use it back + if everyone in a thread is using it, why ruin it by using another gif? Otherwise, no.
