I felt it was really unfair the way the media criticised her (and she almost got boo'd) for saying that Justin Bieber would be her dream date. God forbid a 20 year old Canadian girl have a crush on a 20 year old Canadian boy that she grew up idolising, right?
People just criticise her because she looks so much older than 20. A lot of my girl friends won't date guys who are more than 2 years older than them though. The straight dating pool is so much bigger than the gay dating pool. And young girls 18-23 feel more comfortable being around a guy their own age. Gay guys seem to be like "yeah give me a 37 year old muscle daddy, I'll **** him, idec. Wo'eva, wo'eva, I do wut I waunt."
But all this is, is a 20 year old girl saying she has a crush on a 20 year old boy. The media should stop shaming her for it. It's not that weird of a choice. She's young.
