I only heard "All About You", "LA Love", "Baby Don't Lie" like 5 times and then BAM! It disappeared....
Why do radio stations drop songs off their playlists so quickly without giving the song a chance? But yet they play "All About That Bass" from a brand new artist like 50 times a day
They do give the songs a chance by adding them to their playlists. When there isn't strong audience reaction, the songs don't sell, and they evaporate from the public conscience, of course they're going to drop them to make room for more actual hits.

.
Yeah if sales/interest stall then it's over for the song, I don't think it's the radio stations fault but there's still a little bit of ageism.
