In America, almost every walking being can have access to a gun if they choose to get a license. Having this said, the main "priority" of these guns is to protect American homes, which they do, but it seems as though each year, especially this year, situations occur that may have not if there were no gun laws.
In my opinion, I'm sick and tired of Americans having guns. Yes, it is good to have to protect your home and family, but what about the HUNDREDS of other countries, some that even have more people than America, that can protect themselves without guns.
For instance, I live in Canada. Shootings here are more rare than you freakin' tripping over a rock on the street. I think it's because no one here owns guns, since they are very hard to obtain with no gun laws; unlike in America.
What do you think? Are guns in America beneficial, horrible, or both?
EDIT: Sorry about the poll, I realize it should be "provides" and not profits. I rushed it.
