Hello atrl. I was thinking what do you think about Valentines day. And if you are celebrating it this year, what gifts are you getting your significant other(s).

I personally don't care much for it, in High School, Valentines Day was a day off or a trip funded by the school to cool places in Johannesburg and now that I'm in Varsity (Uni/College to you non saffas), school term usually starts the week after, so I never got to feel heartbroken and lonely when I was single during Valentines Day.

MTE. It really sucks when your single. I've never had a valentine, so it sucks....

I'm single so it's either than I'm gonna go to this festival dressed as a kiss or I'm not gonna care and act like it's just another day.

My plan was to watch 50 Shades of Grey in the cinema but ugh I have to wait for the DVD

It's just a regular day when you're single, just with a little bit more disgusting couples around

They have vouchers to buy tampons

Cute for couples although you should be showing your love for that person everyday.
It's kinda sad and lonely for (us) single people. Other people are celebrating what you don't have.
Some people just say it's for love (family love, friends etc) which is ******** because we all know it's for couples
I've only been in a relationship once during Valentines Day and it was lovely for me. All my friends kinda did a Secret Valentine (like Secret Santa) and it was cute - but I still think it's a corny day.

i'm actually looking forward to it for once this year, because i actually have somebody to spend it with. me and my boyfriend are planning to go to a mexican restaurant (although we may just scrap that and go to mine and order some food in), and we're planning to get "joke" presents for one another. or rather, we mentioned it once, and i will be getting him a joke present.
