For me I'm in the mood to start playing again. It's one of those things where you feel like playing it, you play it for a couple of days, you begin to get bored with it, stop playing, and a few months later get the urge to play again. I just can't decide which one I feel like playing.

I can add mods easily to the Sims 4, which I like. I have no idea how to add mods to the Sims 3, or any others. So I'm thinking of just playing the Sims 4.

I'm also aware that The Sims 4 hasn't really been fully accomplished yet, like previous editions. But hopefully they'll introduce some great expansion packs to further The Sims 4 basic gameplay.

The Sims 2 was ABSOLUTELY EPIC.

Sims 2 is a classic.

The Sims 1 is iconic.

Sims 2 > Sims 3 > Sims 4 > Sims 1

I would agree because it was my childhood, but the fact that you can't have a realistic pregnancy, and Sims don't age kind've ruins it, now that they introduced that in later editions.

Haven't bought Sims 4 yet, but I really enjoy Sims 3.

pff, right? I was so consumed with S3 when I dusted it off a couple months ago but then the interest just dropped off the planet a few weeks later.

I used to play Sims 1 as a little kid, but ever since Sims 2 came out that's been my fav game I've ever played.

It's definitely the best period. I played S3 once and never touched that **** again. S4 looks even worse.

Sims 2 was my favorite game ever. Sims 3 was decent, haven't played Sims 4 and Sims 1 was before my time.

What's wrong with S3?

I guess I choose it over S2 because I really enjoyed the EP's and only had one SP with S2.

Enjoyed the Sims 1 as a kid, but Sims 2 was more memorable. I spent over a year finishing a huge house for the Sims 2.

I actually have more memories with The Sims 3. (Even though it was so buggy, crashed millions of times, lost saves over it and everything)
I simply bought a lot more expansion packs then I did with the Sims 2, and I really enjoyed them. I liked Nightlife, living in apartments, and entire city, although it was laggy as hell. I love being a superstar performer, designing your stage, although I wish it was explored deeper, and I actually liked exploring China, and Egypt.

Although Sims 2 is arguably the better game, I played The Sims 3 a lot more. So my votes goes to the Sims 3. The Sims 1 is a fond childhood memory, bringing my own house to life, and lighting firecrackers off in the house to burn my house down. And The Sims 4, I enjoy it, but can't help but feel the lack of gameplay, and nothing that blew me away, or excited me to a point of it overpowering the previous installments of the game. That could change with the release of new and exciting expansion packs (if that happens, and we don't just get "gamepacks")

My only problem with S2 was that the bloodline stopped at the grandchild.
The great-grand child had no relation to his great-grand parents, and they could have a relationship with each other.
