This band is starting to become more like a boy band than anything else. The Great Escape sounds amazing in any graduation slideshow, but this just sounds like the teenage slow dance version of Falling Slowly.

Come on people... why must so many of you be so critical? If you don't like it, that's fine, but no amount of discontent is going to make those who do like it change their minds. As for the pairing, yes it's unlikely (but so was Tim McGraw and Nelly's pairing on "Over and Over Again") but it's nice to see artists from different genres collaborating together. The song sounds fine to me.

As for Boys Like Girls becoming another "boy band," I don't think so. Artists are known to grow and mature vocally throughout their careers, but to assume this song represents a permanent new direction for Boys Like Girls is a bit unwarranted.

I never said it was a permanent new direction. In fact, if you want to be frank about it, BLG doesn't even HAVE a specific direction from what's leaked from their album. However, the melodies and lyrics are very reminiscent of 90s boy band culture. Just my opinion, figured I'd share it.
