Indie labels need to get it together. The only reason why I say this is because Annie Clark ''St Vincent'' left 4AD for Universal because of their inability to keep music underwraps until the official release date. Plus it seems there are much more leaks with artists on Indie labels.

Björk is under One Little Indian which is under Universal tho
She may as well release now on iTunes but I'd rather she waited until the physicals can be shipped and then release. If this takes longer than 2 weeks though she might as well just release to digital retailers now.

One Little Indian is an indie label with major label distribution. They really have no say in the everyday running of the label. They just distribute the music where the label tells it to.
I don't get why people do this. Like, if it's one demo or outtake or one simple song it's okay, that's also not fair towards the artists, but still, not giving away the whole project they worked hard on and had built a promotional lead-up to its release...
