look, i 200% understand that giving the hauntingly beautiful original the radio edit treatment was inevitable. i really get it, i do. there's no denying the immense potential of that melody. and there's no denying the original track could never have sat well on radio playlists.
but.
is there nobody who could intervene after the 45 minutes during which this appalling GarageBand Frankenstein stitch-job was created to say, "hold up, guys, we might need another day or two before we send the final mix to radios?"? I'm sure no one would've minded the wait.
a bop i guess but weird because this is suppose to be sad...
and it is not only slaying a "bit" on radio..
