So it's a book adaptation.... hmm. Idk how I feel about this but I'm excited tbh. It will be produced by the same person who produced Silver Linings Playbook.
Paul & Selena did meet in New York when she was auditioning, and everyone reported they're dating. I guess they met cause they got the parts.
And also @ the Golden Globes -
EXCLUSIVE: Selena Gomez has zeroed in on her next film role. The recording star and Wizards Of Waverly Place actress is joining Ant-Man‘s Paul Rudd in The Revised Fundamentals Of Caregiving, directed by Emmy winner Rob Burnett.
Gomez will play the role of Dot, a sassy 17-year-old who hitches a ride with the pair during a road trip, and whose forwardness and lack of embarrassment about Trevor’s condition causes him to develop a crush on her.
Filming on The Revised Fundamentals Of Caregiving begins January 22 in Atlanta.
Selena's repped by WME, Brillstein Partners, and Ziffren Brittenham.
The Revised Fundamentals of Caregiving is set to start shooting on January 22nd in Atlanta. No word yet on when or where this might be cropping up, but if production and post-production goes well in the coming months, this sounds like a perfect project to make it debut and garner distributor interest at TIFF this September.
If it premieres @ TIFF in Spetmber, it would be Awesome!
The only thing left is to know who will play Selena's love interest Trev.
The people working on this all Emmy/Oscar winners and the producers Amazing, made some of the biggest movies:
“Silver Linings Playbook,”
“The Reader”
“Shakespeare in Love,”
“Traffic,”
“The Man Who Wasn’t There,”
"Emma"
“About a Boy,”
“The Notebook”
“The Time Travelers Wife.”
Jealousy/Hate from the same people as usual. Selena has enough movie projects coming with the support of World's biggest acting management. Only elite acting talents are signed to them for a reason.

I really don't dislike her as much as you assume I do...Selena needs to put in a damn fine performance in this movie or the critics will filet her. Her last 3 movie efforts were poor , even you would have a hard time trying to counter that..

Thats true. Her performances on Rudderless/Spring Breakers was praised a lot. BB/Getaway didnt do that for her tho.
